Project Description
“Peaceful protest through vibrant colors and positive messages representing unity. I have never participated in a protest before or any type of art activism and I felt so passionate about doing something for the cause so I joined other artists that I hadn’t previously met, and started painting in the Short North. Once people and businesses saw my work there, I started getting contacted for more and more murals. So I kept going. Eventually completing 9 or so murals around downtown. The whole experience made me appreciate the art community in Columbus, brought me together with so many people and gave me the opportunity to show solidarity and variations of my artwork and style. ”
