“Creating this artwork meant everything to me. My hands were gifted to create for causes such as this; creating art that brings healing and uplifts. I am thankful that I have been able to contribute my “voice” to the protests by way of my artwork. Years from now, when future generations learn about this time in history and look at the artwork created, they will know that as a people, though we faced great tribulation, we remained hopeful.”
