“I felt it was both A MASSIVE JOY and very much a RESPONSIBILITY to lend my creative gifts as a megaphone toward the advocacy of my black and brown brothers and sisters as our nation pursues justice, reconciliation and reform. Many people have shared stories with me regarding their encounter with the paintings (particularly the portrait) and how they have assisted them in the healing process… For me, there is no greater joy than knowing that my craft can have such an influential, powerfully positive affect during such a pivotal and tumultuous time.
